Can a Cartoon Tell Your Story?

My story is about Brandtelling – telling the stories about your brand. Some of those stories take significantly longer than the average elevator ride. There are probably just as many different ways to discuss your brand as you have stories about your brand (like stories about your company, products, services, employees, customers, technologies and patents).

One of those ways might be a clever cartoon.

I decided to try a cartoon after reading an interview with cartoonist and new book author Mark Anderson on the excellent Small Business Trends blog, about the book – Rub My Tummy and It’s a Deal and his cartoons. After visiting Mark’s site -- which is filled with witty cartoons you can purchase for your own blog, site, presentations or printed collateral -- I contacted him to discuss creating a cartoon about Brandtelling.

The result, I think, is fantastic! It captures the idea, linking storytelling greatness and the corporation, with a little humor thrown in.

If you’re considering ways to better tell your story – consider the humor and impact of a cartoon. And contact Mark (on twitter @andertoons) – I enthusiastically recommend him!
